I drew him one day a while ago just for fun. I liked him so much I kept drawing dragons until I had enough for a book. I'm not obsessed with dragons at all, they're just one of the many thousands of things I like to draw. At least that's what I thought...
The second pic is of my old pinewood derby cars from when I was in Boy Scouts.
Note the dragon on the green one!
I plan on appending the Durkin's Dragons: Parodies and Tributes book that I sold at MegaCon this year, and want to make it available at IndyPlanet. I've done a lot of dragons since then to more than double what was in the original book, but I need 3 more dragons to make it the proper number of pages. Any suggestions or requests?

I've illustrated three Norman books, designed Ben and Harry (seen above), have designed many other characters and am currently illustrating another book for Fierce Fun Toys. Check out the link to the story here.
I can not begin to tell you how much fun this was!

Alex not only drew the picture, but digitally colored it all by himself. Excellent work, my boy!
See if you can notice the Kit references in the dragon. Thanks Alex!
It's the result of an anecdote she told me, and I just had to commemorate it in this caricature.

Today I'm posting the line work. Tomorrow, I'll post the Emperor in color. See you then!
Thankfully, I have a lot going on right now. I'm drawing a couple of caricature commissions, illustrating a children's book, and working on a self-promotional piece. I also have to go in and work tonight. I'm pushing that big ball of stuff up the hill right now, but I'll be back tomorrow. Stay tuned!
