North Carolina: Day Three

We had our last day in North Carolina today. We checked out of the hotel at 11am and headed into Raleigh. We had been to Raleigh a few years ago and couldn't wait to return to one of our favorite restaurants, Sushi Blues.

The "sushi" part of Sushi Blues is a delectable menu of scrumptious Asian dishes. We started with authentic Miso soup and split four sushi rolls.

We finished them all!
The "blues" half of Sushi Blues is a bit of a misnomer. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Lena Horne, Billie Holiday and other swingin' crooners play over the speakers, and their pictures and records adorn the walls, but only a few actual blues artists are represented. It doesn't matter though, the food is incredible and the music is lively and hip.

Then it was off to the airport and finally, back to Florida. Thank you to the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities for choosing Jett to be a part if their study. We will be receiving the results of Jett's scan in the next few weeks and when we do, I'll be sure to share them here.
